COLDS AND INFLUENZA

Due to viral infections symptoms are of fever, generalized aching, headache, running nose, cough and sore throat.

 Tonify  
 GV14
 On the centre line of the spine in the depression between the 7th cervical vertebra and the 1st thoracic at the top of the spine below the neck.
 LI4
 Situated on the top of the hand in the webbing between the thumb and forefinger, around the highest point of the raised area occurring when the thumb and forefinger are brought together.
 GB20
 In the depression below the skull bone at the back of the neck, on the outside of the large muscle.
 UB13
 One and a half thumb widths from the centre line of the backbone between the 3rd and the 4th thoracic vertebrae.

Plus -

 For headache try:  
Taiyang 
 On the side of the head, in the depression one thumb width from the outer corner of the eye.
 For nasal discharge try:  
 LI20
 In the groove at the side of the nose approximately half a thumb width from the edge of the widest part of the nose.
 For cough try:  
 L7
 One and a half thumb widths up the forearm from the wrist crease on the thumb side of the arm on the edge of the bone (side of arm).
 For fever GV14 is good but try:  
 LI11
 At the outer end of the crease formed when the elbow is partially flexed.
